Vendor FAQ’s

Hello and thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at HAUTMONDE!

I complied a few FAQ’s for future vendors, which I thought would be helpful in answering some questions about the Who, What, Where, Why, and How. So, here we go!

Who – This is you and HAUTEMONDE. This marketplace was made for you and me. As a former Esty, Amazon Handmade, and eBay seller, it became very frustrating that online big box marketplaces were dominating the small business experience. Not to mention the ongoing list of never-ending FEES.

HAUTMONDE is also registered (as of Nov. 7, 2025) as a DBA (Doing Business As) under the parent company Spirit Of Twilight LLC in the State of Florida (See here) if you’d like to verify our business.

So you will be able to create an online store for $10 a month without having to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars, like I have (and many others have) on Webhosting, Software, etc. just to get started. This is also a great option if you’re transitioning from an Online Big Box Marketplace (Etsy, Amazon Handmade, eBay, etc.)

What – Your products and service. I have had my own small business (online and at local vendor events since 2018), Spirit Of Twilight as many of you may know, and I wanted to create a safe space for people offering products and services within the Creator’s and Small | Micro Business community.

Sell your product and service your way! You set the pricing and shipping fees. Create your own icon and banner for your store. Offer coupons and discounts. Run sales. You can also advertise through HAUTMONDE on social media (I charge $10 for a week, because yes, I pay for the service) to announce your new or existing products and services.

Where – HERE OF COURSE, silly! I’m transitioning my storefront from spiritoftwilight.com to HAUTMONDE. Why? I can lower the cost of keeping my website on my current hosting platform, and create a page (or link) that points to my HAUTMONDE storefront.

Why does this matter? Well, if you don’t have a storefront as a YouTube Creator (as an example) and you don’t want to pay for YouTube’s outrageous partnership fees to sell on their channel, you can always use a link to your HUATMONDE store. Or if you don’t want to pay selling fees with your current webhosting company, again, just provide a link to your store here. We have already registered with Google Search and Merchant Center, and we use a Business account with Google Workspace. So HAUTMONDE is well on their way to help your store become successful!

Why – You’re not going to find another marketplace with the the additional features like HAUTMONDE offers for the cost of $10 a month. You’ll be putting more money back into your own pocket with flat rate pricing over paying the endless list of fees of other Big Box marketplaces.

Our website data is also backed up DAILY with our webhosting company. So if something should happen, rest assured that we can restore it pretty quickly to get your store up and running again.

How – It’s really easy to get started. Just slick on the Account Icon (looks like a silhouette of a person) in the upper right hand corner of any page. Here you’ll be able to register as a Customer or as a Vendor. This is also the place that you can log into your store (you may want to bookmark it).

Once you register to become a Vendor, we will get an email to verify your information (if you submit any ID’s, business documents, etc. You (and only you) have access to these. YOU MAY ALSO DELETE them once we approve your account to start selling (usually within an hour or less) as they will be a part of your library of photos you upload (pictures of merchandise, services, etc.) for your storefront. Now, I want to make this clear. HAUTMONDE can see these documents until you delete them. Do we store them outside of your photo library? ABSOLUTELY NOT. We only view them for verification purposes in order to create your Vendor account and validate that you say who you are.

I know the paragraph above was a bit much, but out of the idea of being completely honest and transparent, I needed to say it.

Back to the Vendor Account Portal. On the left side of your home screen, after you login, everything is tabbed and is pretty simple to navigate. You can add your Bank or PayPal information for payouts. Minimum payout requests are $25 and there is no processing fee each time you request a withdrawal to your bank account or PayPal account. You can also add your discounts, coupons, add and remove products, etc.

Just remember, if you have a question, I am here normally from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday.
